The EU will invest EUR 120 million ESF+ funds in Denmark to promote a more inclusive labour market and skilled workforce, helping people to develop the skills and competences for thegreen and digital transition that is fair and inclusive

To implement the European Pillar of Social Rights, the ESF+ in Denmark will also support people on the margins of the labour market by helping them into new jobs, promoting social integration and combatting homelessness. Through the ESF+, Denmark will invest in increasing skills, by ensuring that more people receive and complete their vocational training and higher education to match the labour market and business needs.

The ESF+ will enable Denmark to achieve its 2030 social targets for raising the employment rate to 80%, having 60% of all adults in training every year and reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion by nearly 30 000.

The ESF+ in Denmark is implemented via the national programme 'Stronger Denmark through Education and Skills’.
