The ESF+ in Slovakia will provide opportunities for workers to up and re-skill, allowing them to navigate the changing needs of today’s labour market. ESF+ investments will also focus on active support for young people and children under the Youth Guarantee and the European Child Guarantee

The ESF+ in Slovakia will support the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights, Slovakia will use ESF+ funding to improve the living conditions of marginalised Roma communities and contribute to inclusive education and social services across the country.

ESF+ investments will support Slovakia’s commitment to achieving the EU’s 2030 social targets for raising Slovakia’s employment rate to 76.5%, adult participation in education and training to 50% and reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion by nearly 70 000.
