“S.TR.O.N.G.” was aimed at empowering n.20 NEET aged 18-29, through a customized approach to support them in acquiring soft and professional skills to facilitate their integration in the labour market and, more generally, into society. The project was promoted by the Italian organization Essenia UETP, together with: a national partnership made up of 12 public and private organizations active in the field of youth, education, employment, labour market, mobility, including Campania Region; two foreign organisations, Atheneajob (Spain) and MyAccommodation (Malta). Then the project gave to 21 participants (1 more) the opportunity to:
-attend a 80-days preparation focused on: balance of competencies, personalized career guidance sessions, intercultural and pedagogical preparation, work-related preparation, language course, soft skills
-carry out work-related experiences at foreign companies in Spain and Malta lasting 4 months, with constant supervision and monitoring by tutors
-attend a 80-days follow-up activity aimed at giving career guidance and support to job inclusion, also through matching activity with companies and networking activities
During the project, a constant tutoring, monitoring and quality assurance action has been performed. Through questionnaires the feedback of the participants has been recollected to measure their satisfaction and the development skills. The best practices and lessons learned during the implementation of the project have been gathered and systematized in the Final Report. An intense Dissemination activity has been carried out, including launch and final events. The results have been very positive: all the 21 participants (of which 12 Most vulnerable NEETs) project gained self-confidence and improved their soft skills and professional competences. Currently, the 67% have found work or have undertaken further education(1), exceeding the expectations and confirming the added value of the experience
