Giving offenders the best possible chance of a crime-free life after prison is the goal of Prison Term as a Possibility, a project from Finland's Criminal Sanctions Agency.
By encouraging agencies to work more closely together to offer enhanced rehabilitation, education and employment services, Prison Term as a Possibility is already helping people to reintegrate into society more easily upon release, to have a better chance of finding suitable work, and not to re-offend.
