Elementary schools in the Croatian region of Zadar are benefiting from a project which identifies gifted children and educates them in a way that makes the most of their talents.
The project, called Zadar ZaDar, was designed and delivered by Bartol Kašić elementary school. Working with other schools and universities, as well as the city of Zadar and the local tourism industry, Zadar ZaDar has created new teaching materials for local schools, as well as an online platform where teachers can collaborate.
Hundreds of gifted students were given the opportunity to broaden their education by studying biology, physics, chemistry and geography in real life situations.
