- IDEA is the Economic Development, Employment, Commerce, and European Projects Service of the Alzira City Council. At IDEA, we work to promote innovative initiatives in employment, training, and commerce aimed at increasing well-being and social cohesion within the territory.
Throughout its 30 years of public service, IDEA has launched numerous local, regional, national, and European projects with the goal of supporting the development of the productive fabric and improving the professional profile of Alzira’s citizens from a comprehensive and inclusive perspective.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life in the city by fostering an entrepreneurial culture, training adapted to the needs of the local labor market, and acquiring skills for professional improvement. At the same time, we promote values of interculturality, intergenerationality, inclusion, and active participation in society. We are an accredited employment agency, an authorized vocational training center, a One-Stop-Shop for Entrepreneurs, a job orientation service, an Aula Mentor, and a European projects office.
We introduce the European dimension into our employment and training services to offer citizens the opportunity to develop personally and professionally beyond our borders. We also welcome participants from Erasmus+, Eurodisea, and the European Solidarity Corps programs so that the entire city benefits from the value that interculturality brings. We want the idea of a European, diverse, innovative Alzira—constantly evolving economically and socially—to become an everyday reality.
We don’t work alone. We cooperate with the Business Association and the Merchants Association to launch initiatives and economic promotion events such as the Open Fair (Fira Oberta) and the Economy Week. We collaborate with local companies and social entities and are part of European networks such as Pact for Skills and the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA), with the vision of continuously improving the resources we offer.
We are a quality public service that places people and their needs at the center. We strive to optimize economic and human resources and to incorporate sustainability and social responsibility into our projects. - Looking for
