Ja želim raditi offers participants from two target groups – people aged over 50 and people with disabilities – the chance to learn new skills in an up-and-coming industry. Research shows that there are likely to be more plant processing jobs available soon, so Ja želim raditi is offering training in the cultivation, collection and processing of medicinal and aromatic herbs.
The project, from the Šibenik-Knin County Development Agency, covers basic theoretical and practical knowledge of plant processing, but also offers broader recruitment support to help participants prepare for the jobs market through its own "employment club". By the end of the project, around 45 people from the target groups will have achieved the qualifications they require to work, as well as increasing in confidence and motivation.
