Impact Hub Athens

Recent years have seen an increasing interest in social entrepreneurship across Europe. However, the structures supporting social entrepreneurs in terms of funding opportunities, capacity building, and knowledge sharing vary across Europe, with scarce support available in some cases. Impact Hub Athens addresses the absence of structural support for social entrepreneurs by tapping into the unused potential of international networking and knowledge sharing. Impact Hub is the first global collaborative network of its kind, designed specifically to support and connect social entrepreneurs across the globe whilst also providing them with co-working space.
Impact Hub Athens supports entrepreneurs working in the fields of urbanism, active citizenship, circular economy, the environment, and systemic change for social integration. Its business incubator provides training on capacity building and workshops on marketing for more developed enterprises. Impact Hub Athens is part of a growing international network: it collaborates with Impact Hubs in other countries to deliver joint activities and share expertise globally.
Since its establishment in 2013, Impact Hub Athens has evolved into a central player in Greece's social innovation landscape. Operating from a 750 sqm hub in central Athens, the organization hosts over 200 events annually, including workshops, networking sessions, and thematic conferences. From 2017 to 2023, it managed Greece’s first Social Economy Market, supporting over 80 entrepreneurs and attracting more than 100,000 visitors.
Over the years, Impact Hub Athens has supported more than 300 social and environmental ventures and trained over 3,000 individuals in entrepreneurship and upskilling. The team of 12 full-time professionals brings expertise in program design, facilitation, and ecosystem building, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services to its community.
As part of the global Impact Hub network, present in over 120 cities across five continents, Impact Hub Athens continues to foster inclusive entrepreneurship and drive systemic change both locally and internationally.
