As its name explains, FUNAFOR is a FOUNDATION FOR TRAINING SUPPORT AND COUNSELLING that has the following core activities:
- To implement Training Programmes for unemployed workers to enable them to acquire the knowledge, qualifications and skills necessary to improve their chances of finding employment.
- Execute Training Programmes for employed workers that favour their integration and professional adaptation to new working methods and the new demands of the market.
- To design and execute programmes and/or activities that involve the improvement of employability aimed at potentially vulnerable groups and/or those at risk of social exclusion.
- The programming of courses and seminars that incorporate and promote the knowledge of new scientific, commercial and industrial methods with the aim of supporting the
to support the implementation of research and development programmes.
- Executing Training Programmes, Labour Guidance, Accompaniment in Employment, Labour Intermediation and Labour Insertion, enabling social and labour integration and labour insertion by placing at the disposal of the beneficiaries of these programmes a whole machinery at a consultative and formative level with the aim of achieving the objectives stipulated in these programmes.
- Collaboration with Public Administrations (State, Autonomous and local), Institutions, Public Companies, Employers and Trade Unions that may be involved in Training and Employment Programmes aimed at both employed and unemployed workers and that seek to improve the training or entry into the labour market of these groups, especially if the beneficiaries of these programmes are young people, the long-term unemployed and the most unprotected groups.
- The performance of consultancy work and the provision of services to employed and unemployed workers, as well as the performance and dissemination of general and sectorial economic studies, related to the training and employment environment and commissioned by public or private entities.
- The design, management and execution of training programmes through the organisation of educational activities for private entities.
- The promotion of activities aimed at equality between women and men, which implies the implementation of information and awareness-raising projects, as well as the development of activities aimed at reconciling work and personal life.
- The search for grants or calls for applications for public or private subsidies related to the implementation of training, employment or mixed programmes.
- The search and selection of personnel, as well as the evaluation of jobs for private entities.
- To constitute, join or associate with Associations, Federations or Confederations that have interests common to the object of the Foundation.
- To disseminate its own activities related to the Foundation, by means of talks, colloquiums, conferences, seminars, at national, regional, provincial and/or local level.
- To establish as an aim, the attention and improvement of the living conditions, dignity and equal opportunities of all people (of any group with which the Foundation works) with the objective of achieving their social integration through labour intermediation mechanisms such as labour orientation, training and improvement of qualifications.
- To support self-employment and self-employment.
- To develop services for the promotion, creation and management of employment.
- Promotion of Equal Opportunities between men and women in all the Foundation's areas of activity.
- Defence of the environment through the organisation's own actions and the dissemination of good environmental practices.
