The Adlershof Founder’s Lab in Berlin helps founders’ teams to develop their business ideas to market readiness. The project supports technology and knowledge-based, innovative, and sustainable business ideas.

Successful applicants are offered a monthly grant from the European Social Fund Plus for a period of 12 months. To further help them reach their goals, teams are supported with workshops, mentoring, coaching and guidance, as well as networking events, contacts to potential customers and/or cooperation partners. All teams have a dedicated place to develop their projects in Adlershof’s co-working space, maximising collaboration and cross-pollination of ideas.

Since 2017, Adlershof has successfully supported 32 teams with 79 founders. Nearly 40% of all funding is reserved for female-led projects.

Gabriela Konhäusner, co-founder of RoofUz, a new platform for roof-extension for builder-owners and construction professionals, states, ‘Founder’s Lab program gave us the possibility to focus on the topic and develop our business idea. The program also offered useful training and workshops for business development. We are grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to the future.’

The Adlershof Founder’s Lab (Gründungswerkstatt Adlershof) is part of the Berlin Startup Stipendium program which is financed by the European Union and the State of Berlin,  Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises.
