For people with disabilities, navigating multiple bureaucratic procedures to understand their rights and access support can be an exhausting job. In Cyprus, however, a new system of assessing disability and functioning is making things easier.
Based on the WHO’s International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health framework, the New System of Assessing Disability and Functioning in Cyprus is a scientific, reliable and credible assessment mechanism.
After a single assessment with the New System, people with disabilities can access all the reports and certifications commonly accepted by public services, as well as suggestions for the most appropriate supportive interventions.
