To help those who have left school early get back on track, the ‘Gonesse Digital Factory’ provides digitally-centred training activities to help young people develop new skills. Since 2015, the ‘Gonesse Digital Factory’ has shown success in helping disadvantaged teenagers living near the Paris Metropolitan Area. 85% of participants think the project is helpful. 60% of these students are back in education, and 40% are now entering the labour market for the first time. Digital initiatives like these provide many students with a much-needed second chance, and are vital to ensuring the next generation thrives in today’s digital marketplace.
