Offering
Association for Active Life and Education is Vienna based NGO, active since 2019 and in 2022 legal form was established. Primary goal is educating members of the organization and young people in Vienna through non-formal education and sport. ACTIVE focuses its work mostly on young people and people with fewer opportunities, vulnerable and marginalized groups, migrants coming to Vienna or the surrounding area, NEETs and young people from rural areas. As a Vienna-based, student-led organisation, we offer a unique set of strengths. We provide direct access to diverse communities in Austria, a dynamic network of engaged volunteers, and proven expertise in event management and non-formal education. We also contribute to project evaluation and dissemination through our established channels. Since 2019, we have been developing and implementing local and international projects that use physical activity, outdoor sports and learning-by-doing to support young people, migrants, women, and people with fewer opportunities.
Looking for
We seek partners who are aligned with our core values: inclusion, youth empowerment, community integration for newcomers, and promoting health through physical activity. We believe in a co-creation mindset, where partners work together from concept to completion, prioritising evidence-based design and robust impact measurement.
We are looking for:
- Organisations with diverse capabilities - We value expertise in research, policy development, dissemination, and piloting new initiatives.
- Strong local networks - Partners with deep connections to their communities, including experience working with vulnerable groups or migrants, are essential.
- A commitment to EU compliance - You should have a solid understanding of managing and reporting on programmes like Erasmus+ or similar EU funds.
- Geographic diversity - We aim to build consortia that represent a wide range of European contexts and communities.
