As the population ages, and people are required to work for longer, a project called Demographic Consulting is making it easier for Austrian companies to attract and retain staff, by helping them to create better working environments for everyone.

Demographic Consulting offers free advice to businesses, helping them to create age-appropriate work environments which encourage staff of all ages to perform to the best of their abilities. The aim is to maintain long term employment and high performance across all age groups.

The consultations are tailored to each workplace, and focus on several areas of action, including leadership and culture, HR management, knowledge and skills, and health, as well as offering advice and information on staff retention and the benefits of a generational mix at work.
