Between 2014 and 2020, the European Social Fund has benefited around 9 million people in Spain, 45% of whom were unemployed.

Between 2021 and 2027, the European Social Fund Plus will invest more than 16.5 billion euros in Spain, almost 20% more than in the previous period.
