MINNA+WILLI matches people 60+, especially solo self-employed people who are looking for additional income shortly before or during retirement, with people in the neighborhood who need support in everyday life. The neighborhood service enables those people involved to meet, socialize and actively shape their social participation. An innovative neighborhood kiosk-mobile acts as a contact and meeting point, a source of information and a lively bulletin board for offers and requests. This kiosk-mobile is located in public spaces at changing but recurring locations in the city of Hamburg. The service is aimed at people who work or have worked in the IT or creative industries, trades, catering or household-related services, for example. They are hands-on, professional, flexible, committed, like teamwork and want to use their professional and life experience to get involved in everyday and neighborhood help. In collaboration with a cooperation partner, MINNA+WILLI offers individual advice on securing a livelihood especially for solo self-employed people aged 60+. Among other things, they are shown ways in which they can use their diverse skills and talents effectively in the MINNA+WILLI neighborhood service and secure their livelihood in later life.
