Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation Digital Inclusion sprang into action during the COVID-19 lockdown, offering computers to households with school-age children that didn’t have one.
Digital Inclusion, a non-profit organisation that wants everyone in Luxembourg to have equal access to IT, sprang into action during the COVID-19 crisis, offering computers to every household with school-age children that didn’t have one.
The organisation has been refurbishing and redistributing computers, tablets and smartphones to low-income families for many years. But in March, when the need became urgent, Digital Inclusion simplified the process, removing the need for interviews, working with teachers to ensure families were nominated, and collaborating with local groups to deliver the computers.
