In Austria, a Girls Centre is helping young women to get On The Way to a professional future.
The Klagenfurt Girls Centre, in south Austria, has developed the On The Way project to offer support, advice and skills training for disadvantaged and marginalised women between the ages of 18 and 25.
Courses include German language training and, for those who have not completed compulsory schooling, the opportunity to obtain key qualifications.
Participants receive ongoing support from a career adviser, but also have access to free psychotherapy sessions for more intensive help if they need it.
