
With the economic outlook darkening, Portugal’s families are trying to keep their heads above water.
The Fund for the European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD), with a total budget of €177 million, has started supporting those who found themselves in difficulties, due to the coronavirus. Each month, the Casa da Misericordia project in Lisbon, Portugal, is welcoming 1,200 families, providing them with food baskets, and accompanying measures such as cooking classes, or household budget management sessions.
