European Youth Event (EYE2020): Registration is Now Open!

The EYE2020 Event: The Future is now will take place in Strasbourg on from the 29th - 30th May 2020 and it will host an interesting workshop on the ESF +

The European Youth Event runs every two years, bringing together young people across the EU and beyond, to share their ideas of how to shape the future of Europe. This year will be the fourth event, taking place at the European Parliament’s seat in Strasbourg on the 29th-30th May 2020. 

During the two-day event, the attendees will have the opportunity to not only network and inspire each other, but also meet decision-makers, inspiring speakers and take part in a variety of activities. During the event, there will be English, French and German language interpretation available for most of the activities on offer. 

The EYE2020 programme will consist of 112 activities, organised by youth organisations and participants. There are currently 8 brief descriptions that have been announced which will be covered across the activities. In March 2020, the final programme will be announced, and it is expected to have up to 300 activities included ranging from a lot of topics covering: culture, democracy, economy, environment and much more. 

Following the event, all the ideas and concerns are collated from the young people involved and presented in a report which is distributed to all Members of the European Parliament. The Youth Hearings will also take place post-event which will allow some key attendees to directly present their ideas to the members of parliament.
