Land without border

Since 2004, the Family Festival Land without Borders has been organized and implemented by the Breza Association in Osijek (Croatia). The Festival gathers thousands of children and youth, families, who, with the support of artists and professional teaching staff, learn new skills, present their potential, connect with the community. The festival is a unique platform for social innovation, creativity and togetherness, where different forms of social engagement interpenetrate each other and the local community becomes an active participant in creating positive changes in society.

Budget
The festival is supported every year by the City of Osijek, and more recently by the Osijek-Baranja County and occasionally by local cities and municipalities. Part of the funds is provided from other EU funds through approved projects in which the Festival is listed as a training ground for presentations and/or workshops. Private companies and corporations may sponsor the festival as part of their corporate social responsibility programs, which is sometimes provided through material donations. Partnerships with educational and cultural institutions and the involvement of city utility companies also help reduce costs and increase resources (services at no charge). The festival contents are free for all visitors and participants and no entrance fees are charged.
