Despite the changes due to COVID-19, thousands of Latvian students are continuing to receive high quality career guidance, and have even been able to take part in National Youth Skills competitions.
Despite a global pandemic, Latvia's State Education Development Agency has continued to give career guidance and support to thousands of students, and has even been able to hold some National Youth Skills competitions.
Since 2016, the ESF-funded 'Career Guidance in General and Vocational Education Institutions' project has employed 369 teachers via 76 local governments to give career development support to more than 150,000 students. Currently, 390 general and 17 vocational education institutions are involved in the scheme.
