In Marseilles, France, a professional network with its own quality mark is encouraging businesses to be socially responsible and share good employment practices.
Like all of France’s Local Integration and Employment Plans (PLIEs), the Marseilles region's PLIE is dedicated to getting people into work and providing sustainable jobs. For the last 20 years, Emergenes, which delivers the Marseilles PLIE, has built up a network of companies that help job seekers by giving them information and support. Together, these companies help more than 2000 people a year.
In 2007, Emergence decided to strengthen this network by offering members the opportunity to achieve the Empl'itude label.
