Extra COVID-19 funding for a project in Denmark means that more businesses will be able to collaborate with knowledge institutions, develop digital innovations and adapt to a rapidly changing market.
For many companies, COVID-19 has meant adapting, fast. As markets change, businesses are having to develop new concepts for digital sales and services.
Since 2017, ‘Industry 4.0: Digitisation Boost’ has been helping companies and knowledge institutions in Denmark to collaborate in digital innovation. So when the pandemic hit, the Danish Business Promotion Board decided to put an extra DKK 19million into the project.
These extra funds are part of a pool of DKK 114million, co-financed by the EU, formed in April to help companies mitigate the consequences of COVID-19 and prepare for a post-COVID world.
