Offering
YAETO offers comprehensive hosting services for ALMA mobility groups in Cyprus, particularly in the Paphos region.

Our services include accommodation, organisation of suitable work-related learning placements, local orientation, support with transport and everyday practical matters, mentoring, regular contact with participants and placement providers, and close coordination with the sending organisation.

Through our local network, placements can be arranged in sectors including tourism and hospitality, hotels and restaurants, gastronomy, agriculture, crafts and technical activities, social and community-based services, and other suitable occupational fields.

YAETO has practical experience as a receiving organisation, having hosted participants from Germany under the JUVENTUS programme in 2024.

New ALMA groups can be hosted from October 2027 onwards.
Looking for
AETO is looking for cooperation with ALMA sending organisations and other European partners seeking a reliable receiving organisation in Cyprus.

We are particularly interested in partnerships for transnational mobility projects for young NEETs and other disadvantaged young people. From October 2027 onwards, YAETO can host groups in the Paphos region and organise accommodation, work-related learning placements, mentoring and local support.

We welcome cooperation with ESF+ managing authorities, public employment services, municipalities, NGOs, VET and education providers, youth organisations and other organisations implementing ALMA or similar European mobility programmes.
Receiving
### a. Current participation in an ALMA call

No. YAETO is not currently participating in an ALMA call. However, YAETO has already gained relevant experience as a receiving organisation in Cyprus by hosting participants from Germany within the JUVENTUS programme.

This experience included the organisation and support of transnational mobility and work-related learning activities for young people and provides a strong basis for future cooperation within ALMA.

### b. Target groups YAETO is able to host

YAETO is able to host young NEETs aged 18–29 with different levels of support needs, including:

* early school leavers and low-skilled young people;
* economically inactive and long-term unemployed young people;
* young people with little or no previous work experience;
* young people from disadvantaged social or economic backgrounds;
* young migrants and third-country nationals with a legal stay/work permit;
* young people facing social, educational or labour-market barriers;
* participants with disabilities or health-related support needs, provided that their individual needs can be adequately accommodated and agreed upon with the sending organisation in advance.

YAETO has previous experience in hosting participants from Germany in Cyprus within the JUVENTUS programme and is therefore familiar with the particular support needs that may arise during transnational mobility and work-related learning experiences.

### c. Framework conditions for hosting during work-related experience

YAETO provides hosting in the Paphos region of Cyprus.

Participants can be accommodated at Club St George Resort in the Paphos area, offering furnished studios and apartments with kitchen facilities, bathrooms and living areas. The accommodation provides an appropriate environment for both individual participants and groups during their mobility period.

Work-related learning placements can be organised in Paphos and the surrounding region according to the participants' profiles, professional interests and individual support needs.

YAETO coordinates the hosting arrangements and supports participants in their daily life and during their work-related experience.

Specific accessibility requirements or other individual support needs are assessed together with the sending organisation before the mobility in order to ensure that suitable accommodation, placements, transport arrangements and support can be provided.

### d. Possible activities and support services offered

YAETO can provide comprehensive support throughout the mobility period in Cyprus.

Services include the identification and coordination of suitable work-related learning placements according to the participants' individual profiles, interests and abilities; organisation of accommodation in the Paphos area; arrival and local orientation; support with local transport and everyday practical matters; regular contact with participants and placement providers; mentoring and individual support; and coordination with the sending organisation throughout the mobility period.

Possible work-related activities can be arranged in different sectors depending on availability and the participants' profiles, including:

* tourism and hospitality;
* hotels and restaurants;
* gastronomy;
* agriculture and environmental activities;
* crafts and technical/practical activities;
* office and administrative activities;
* social and community-based services;
* other suitable local services and work-related learning opportunities.

YAETO can also support participants in dealing with difficulties during their stay, including workplace-related issues, accommodation matters and other practical or social challenges.

Individual support needs are discussed with the sending organisation before arrival so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Based on its previous experience hosting German participants in Cyprus under the JUVENTUS programme, YAETO is familiar with the organisational and individual support requirements of transnational mobility projects for young people.

### e. Availability for hosting of groups

YAETO will be available to host new ALMA groups from **October 2027 onwards**.

From that date, hosting can generally be provided throughout the year, subject to prior coordination and the availability of suitable work-related placements and accommodation.

Exact mobility periods and group sizes can be agreed flexibly with the sending organisation according to the participants' profiles, individual support needs and the requirements of the respective ALMA project.

### f. Restrictions / additional comments regarding the hosting of groups

YAETO will be available to host new ALMA groups from October 2027 onwards. There are no general restrictions regarding the hosting of groups from that date.

Group size, duration of the mobility, work-related placement requirements and individual support needs should be agreed in advance with the sending organisation in order to ensure suitable accommodation, placements and adequate support.

Participants with disabilities, health-related conditions or other specific support needs can be considered on an individual basis. Such needs should be communicated sufficiently in advance so that YAETO can assess and arrange appropriate accommodation, workplace conditions, transport and support.

### g. Contacts with national, regional and local partners in Cyprus

YAETO has an established network of local and regional partners in Cyprus, particularly in the Paphos region.

The network includes enterprises and organisations that can provide work-related learning opportunities in sectors such as hotels and hospitality, restaurants and gastronomy, tourism, agriculture, crafts and technical activities, as well as social and community-based services.

YAETO also maintains contacts with municipalities and local authorities, schools and education/training providers, social organisations and other local stakeholders.

These contacts enable YAETO to identify suitable work-related placements according to participants' individual profiles, interests, professional goals and support needs.

The network has already been used in the context of transnational mobility activities, including the hosting of participants from Germany under the JUVENTUS programme. YAETO can therefore build on existing local structures and practical experience when organising future ALMA mobility projects in Cyprus.

### h. Relevant previous projects and experience

YAETO has relevant experience in transnational mobility projects aligned with the objectives of ALMA.

From early July to the end of October 2024, YAETO acted as the receiving organisation in Cyprus for participants from Germany within the JUVENTUS programme. The German sending organisation was Ribbeck-Verein Berlin e.V.

During the mobility period, YAETO supported the participants throughout their stay in Cyprus, including accommodation, local orientation, coordination of work-related learning placements, cooperation with local placement providers, practical support in everyday life and ongoing assistance during the mobility.

This cooperation provided YAETO with practical experience in hosting and supporting young people from Germany in a transnational setting and in cooperating with a German sending organisation.

This experience is directly relevant to the objectives and implementation approach of ALMA.
