Offering
Tukena is a Finnish non-profit actor consisting of two organisations. Tukena Foundation focuses on promoting human rights, inclusion, and equal opportunities through advocacy, development, and knowledge work. Tukena Ltd. is a nationwide social service provider offering person-centred and community-based support for individuals with intellectual disabilities or similar support needs. Together, we work to ensure that everyone has the right to make decisions, live meaningful lives, and participate fully in society, regardless of support needs. Our activities are guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and values such as inclusion, equality, and co-creation.

We offer skills on practical and co-creational development, inclusive methods for working with people who need support, and strong experience from national and international projects. We are interested in partnerships that focus on for example inclusive innovation, inclusion, self-determination, self-directed support, family and community collaboration or systemic change. Through international collaboration, Tukena seeks to exchange knowledge, build future-oriented and rights-based models, and promote lasting social impact.
