TRIBEKA TRAINING LAB S.L.U. is a Spanish training agency located in Malaga (Andalusia), that organises, implements and promotes educational programmes and internships to enhance professional possibilities and cultural awareness of European students, teaching staff, unemployed, young workers and organisations. In 2022, Tribeka training lab received the Quality Award in Vet education by the Spanish National Agency Sepie, for the SkillsAct4Vet project 2019-1-ES01-KA202-065610.
Tribeka was established in 2015 to answer the growing demand for high quality vocational training and professional development opportunities in Spain. As a receiving organisation, we host participants from all over Europe, providing them with work-based learning experiences in companies from a wide variety of sectors. We also organise professional visits, seminars and sociocultural programmes to promote cross-cultural exchange. Our job is based on the international and intergenerational transfer of knowledge, taking place both formally and informally, as a natural result of work experience abroad. The high quality of our services is possible thanks to a solid network of local companies and other institutions collaborating with us to strengthen key competences of the students. Professional practical internships are offered in private sector companies, governmental organizations, NGOs, schools, colleges and universities, providing the participants of our projects with a whole range of
possibilities for gaining new professional skills and knowledge.
So far we haven't participated in any ALMA calls, but being part of "ETN Network" with companies in Bulgaria (Sofia), Italy (Rimini and Potenza), Germany(Berlink), Ireland (Cork), Portugal (Lisbon) and Greece (Rodhus) we are benefiting from the expertise of our network of training agencies and some of them have experience with ALMA calls.
In the last 5 years, Tribeka has received more than 230 groups within European projects and organised training activities and socio-cultural programmes for more than 3500 students and teachers. During this time, Tribeka has created a big network of local companies, organisations and education providers that can assure the provision and implementation of professional and cultural programmes in the sector of the training foreseen by the project.
For this reason, Tribeka can act as receiving organisation for early school leavers, low skilled young people, economically inactive young people, young people without work experience, persons with disabilities, single parents without child, young people from a disadvantaged or minority background, young migrants/third state-nationals with a legal stay/work permit, using its experience in creating connections among companies and learners to promote knowledge. Any disability or special need must be fully communicated to the receiving organisation in advance so we they can check with our local network and facilities whether the necessary accommodations can be provided. We are available to host groups between 1 and 6 months, providing accommodation in flats or residences. We have on-site training and tutoring and 24/7 assistance for urgencies.
