Offering
Ribbeck-Verein e.V. offers experienced and reliable hosting services for ALMA mobility projects in Germany, particularly in Berlin and Brandenburg. We can organise the complete local mobility phase, including suitable work-related placements, accommodation, local transport, socio-pedagogical mentoring, language support, cultural and educational activities and continuous coordination with the sending organisation.

Through our network of employers, public employment services, local authorities and social organisations, we can provide individual placements in different occupational sectors according to participants’ profiles, interests and support needs. We have particular experience in supporting young people facing barriers to employment and social inclusion and in managing transnational cooperation with European partners.

We are open to new partnerships with ALMA organisations from across Europe looking for a reliable receiving partner in Germany.
Looking for
ALMA sending organisations and European partners looking for a reliable receiving partner in Germany and in Spain (Tenerife) for transnational mobility, work-based learning and social inclusion projects.
Receiving
a. Are you currently participating in an ALMA call funded by ESF+ or other funds?

Yes. Ribbeck-Verein e.V. is currently participating in ALMA as a receiving/host organisation in Germany. In 2026, we host ALMA participants from Spain in cooperation with Spanish sending organisations, including CIC Batá and DYAR. We organise and coordinate the work-related learning experience in Germany, including placements, accommodation, local transport, mentoring, language support and socio-pedagogical assistance.

b. Target group(s) you would be able to host

Ribbeck-Verein e.V. is able to host a broad range of young people facing barriers to employment and social inclusion, in particular: young people with little or no work experience, low-skilled young people, early school leavers, economically inactive young people and NEETs, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, young migrants/third-country nationals with a legal stay/work permit, as well as participants with disabilities or other individual support needs.

Participants are matched individually with suitable placements according to their skills, interests, professional goals and support needs.

c. Framework conditions for hosting during work-related experience

The hosting programme is mainly organised in Berlin and the surrounding region of Brandenburg. Depending on the project and group, accommodation can be provided in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, with organised access to the respective workplaces by public transport, bicycle or other suitable local transport solutions.

Ribbeck-Verein e.V. cooperates with companies and organisations from different sectors and can arrange a variety of work-related learning placements, for example in hospitality, production, food processing, laboratory-related activities, office and IT-related work, tourism, social and environmental activities and other practical occupational fields.

Individual accessibility and special support requirements are assessed before mobility. Suitable arrangements are then developed together with the sending organisation, participant, accommodation provider and host company. The feasibility of specific accessibility requirements must therefore be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

d. Possible activities and support services offered

Ribbeck-Verein e.V. provides comprehensive support before and during the mobility period. This can include individual placement matching, contact and coordination with host companies, preparation for the work-related experience, local orientation, assistance with accommodation and transport, German language support, socio-pedagogical mentoring, regular contact with participants and employers, conflict resolution and support in administrative or practical matters.

We also organise accompanying educational, cultural and social activities and support participants in becoming familiar with everyday life and the working environment in Germany. Close cooperation with the sending organisation is maintained throughout the mobility period.

e. Availability for hosting of groups

Ribbeck-Verein e.V. is generally available to host ALMA groups throughout the year, subject to prior agreement regarding group size, duration, accommodation capacity, participant profiles and availability of suitable work placements. Specific mobility periods can be agreed individually with sending organisations.

f. Restrictions / additional comments

Group size and mobility dates should be agreed sufficiently in advance in order to ensure appropriate accommodation and high-quality individual work placements. Participant profiles and any special support, health, accessibility or dietary requirements should be communicated before arrival.

Basic motivation to participate in a work-related learning experience and willingness to engage with the host companies and the local environment are important. German language skills are helpful but are not a general prerequisite, as language support can form part of the mobility programme.

g. Contacts with national, regional or local partners in Germany

Ribbeck-Verein e.V. has an established network of public institutions, employers, social organisations and other stakeholders in Berlin and Brandenburg. This includes cooperation and contacts with Jobcenters and employment services in Berlin and Brandenburg, local authorities and municipalities, NGOs and non-profit organisations, as well as companies providing work-related learning opportunities.

Our current ALMA cooperation includes employers and placement providers from sectors such as food production and processing, hospitality, tourism, office/IT, agriculture and other practical occupational fields. In the 2026 ALMA mobility programme, placements have been developed together with, among others, JÜTRO GmbH & Co. KG and martas Hotel Lutherstadt Wittenberg, as well as further regional employers and organisations.

h. Other relevant projects targeting NEETs or aligned with ALMA objectives

Ribbeck-Verein e.V. has extensive experience in labour-market integration, social inclusion and employment-related projects for people facing barriers to the labour market. The organisation works in the field of publicly funded employment and integration measures and has experience in combining practical work experience with socio-pedagogical support and individual guidance.

In 2026, Ribbeck-Verein e.V. acts as a German receiving organisation within ALMA and hosts participants from Spain. The organisation coordinates the complete local implementation of the mobility phase, including accommodation, work placements, mentoring, language support, local mobility and cooperation with employers and sending organisations.
