The Instituto Padre António Vieira (IPAV) is a Portuguese non-profit organization, present in 29 countries, dedicated to promoting human dignity and strengthening communities through programs focused on ethical leadership and social development. With a strong foundation in humanist values and inspired by the Ubuntu philosophy, IPAV promotes dialogue, cooperation, and respect for diversity. Its initiatives span areas such as peace education, social inclusion, and the empowerment of young leaders.
As a partner, IPAV can be a valuable asset to other European organizations by offering a people-centered approach to building bridges across different cultures and social contexts. Its experience in social impact projects, education, and community development—such as the Ubuntu Leaders Academy—significantly contributes to creating a culture of humanist values, such as solidarity, mutual respect, and empathy, which are fundamental to promoting a more inclusive and cohesive Europe.
Through the Ubuntu Leaders Academy project, IPAV seeks to establish strategic partnerships with European organizations committed to promoting a humanist culture through education. We believe that exchanging experiences and fostering international cooperation are essential for improving educational and social practices, creating impact networks that advance values such as solidarity, mutual respect, and empathy.
By collaborating with European partners, IPAV aims not only to share its knowledge and experience in empowering ethical and inclusive leaders but also to learn from other approaches and contexts, thus enhancing the quality and effectiveness of everyone’s work. This synergy will contribute to the development of innovative methodologies, promoting a more cohesive, inclusive Europe committed to human dignity.
