Offering
De Lovie vzw is a social entreprise active throughout the Westhoek (Flanders) region, supporting over 1.200 children, youth and adults with intellectual or other vulnerabilities. We provide care at home, in our facilities, and through mobile support. Working together with the people, we do support their networks to create meaningful, inclusive lives. Our main site at Kasteelpark (De Lovie, Caste park) in Poperinge hosts 30 residential groups, studios, day centres, a school, and a farm. While 22 additional groups and day centres are located across the region (Ypres, Diksmuide, Lo-Reninge, and Wervik). With 672 full-time staff and 365 volunteers, we strive to foster personal growt, joy, and high quality of life. As a social organisation, we envision an inclusive world where everyone can find their place, contribute to society, and thrive in connection with others. Sustainability, innovation, and meaningful engagement guide our work toward a positive future for all kind of people and the community.
Our long-standing experience in inclusive hospitality and supported employment allows a training model or a learing ecosystem to be validated, in diverse demanding social contexts, ensuring accessibility, adaptability and robustness for children, youth and adults with different backgrounds and opportunities.
