We are currently participating to an ALMA call funded by an ESF+ and before ALMA we were part of the previous similar project called locally TLN.
Our target groups are: Early school leavers, low skilled young people, economically inactive young people, young people without work experience, persons with disabilities or other health issues (mental, drug abuse, etc.), young people without family support (government is the responsible).
We send between 6-8 participants per group and implement the project each year, from January to December. Participants stay abroad 2,5 months aprox.
The intended timing for the participant stays abroad: Between half April to the end of June and Between first October to the end of November.
As regards the type of accommodation and support you are seeking for the stay abroad for us is important:
• Small hosting organization, ideally a social organization
• Open possibilities of internship places
• The participants can to be together in the same house or place (or two places close each other), and with individual rooms.

We participate in ALMA and in Juventus (the German version). We have been implementing these type of projects since 2015.
We work with diverse target groups including, but not only: Early school leavers, low skilled young people, economically inactive young people, young people without work experience, persons with disabilities or other health issues (mental, drug abuse, etc.), single parents with or without child, young people from a disadvantaged or minority background, young migrants/third state-nationals with a legal stay/work permit.
We are a social and non profit women led cooperative with a multidisciplinary team (psychologists, entrepreneurs, urbanist, facilitators, economist). We have a long experiencie working with this project and our methodology is based on a very adaptable, quality based and holistic approach. We choose to look for internship places in small entitities, ideally social entitities or with a social approach or small companies, or familiar companies, close to the place of the accommodation of the group.
We host in a town very close to Barcelona calles Corbera de Llobregat. We choose to do so because young people can live in a place where there will have more contact to local people, to nature and less influence from the city even though they can reach to it by a bus. We can find internships in many sectors, ideally in Corbera or sorroundings and we also work with internships in Barcelona city.
As regards the accomodation we can offer a house with a garden with three double rooms and apartments in the local hotel of Corbera with kitchen and swimming pool (two rooms and capacity for 3-4 people (if the participant doesn’t like to share rooms, each apartment is for 2 people; house with 3 double rooms, minimum 3 people). Depending of the characteristics of the participants, and if the budget include that, we can look for arrangements for special needs. We have 2 tutors from our organization, to support the participants all the time.
We like to work with groups of 9-13 people and we only host one group at a time since for us it is important to dedicate quality work to them.
Brief description of possible activities and support services offered:
• Weekly meetings with participants to do a follow up in their pedaagogical process and to be sure that the daily life is going ok.
• Individual interviews to adapted the expectations with the reality and solved difficulties
• Cultural activities to know the traditions and key places in Barcelona and Corbera.
• Workshops about specific items: Communication, Design thinking, co-creation.
• Weekly spanish classes
In Cataluña we have 2 official languages: Spanish and Catalan.

We have a close contact to the local employment agencies and local authorities responsible for the ALMA. We are also part of the network of social cooperatives in Sants and the Social Economy in Cataluña.
