Work Aid Kit — Neurodiversity Inclusion for the Workplace

Work Aid Kit is a four-component social innovation ecosystem developed by Autism Voice Romania to address the systemic exclusion of neurodivergent adults from the labour market.
Component 1 — Individual Support: Structured vocational evaluation, individual counselling, CV preparation and job-matching for neurodivergent candidates, supported by a national database of 38+ profiles across 7 sectors (IT, HR, Design, Logistics, HoReCa, Administration, Psychology).
Component 2 — Employer Services: A B2B inclusion package for companies comprising DEI workshops, neurodiversity awareness training for HR teams and managers, and consultancy on adapted recruitment and onboarding processes.
Component 3 — Protected Work Unit (UPA): A microgreens farm operating as a sheltered employment unit, providing neurodivergent adults with real working experience, structured routines and dignity of paid work in a supported environment.
Component 4 — National Media Awareness Campaign (""Recrutează Atipic""): A public communication campaign broadcast across 22 radio stations and 6 national TV channels, aimed at shifting employer and public attitudes towards neurodivergent talent and stimulating demand for inclusive hiring practices.
Together, the four components address the employment exclusion cycle from multiple angles simultaneously — creating jobs, changing employer behaviour, supporting individuals and reshaping public narratives.
