Project Volunteers Everywhere aims at the integration and social inclusion of refugees fleeing Ukraine by connecting the refugees with Czech, Polish, and Lithuanian volunteers from their neighborhoods. The partners want to re-vitalize the massive support for Ukrainian refugees from the first months of the Russian aggression and build a trained network of volunteers willing to further assist the refugees in inclusion into the local community. This project allows for the sharing of best practices and analysis of the problem among diverse stakeholders (3 round tables, meetings with stakeholders, and workshops on migration and refugee topics) and enables each partner to contribute their expertise to the project's goals. This kind of collaboration can lead to more effective volunteer management strategies and greater impact both locally and globally. There will be organized also 4 other mutual learning events (3 on-site, 1 online) to exchange knowledge and experience with other beneficiaries. The volunteer assistance has been concentrated in large cities, however, the refugees have moved from the cities into the regions to seek jobs and accommodation. Introducing a mobile application tailored for connecting refugees and volunteers in remote areas can be an innovative approach that complements institutional measures and together with the professional support of the project partners fosters a sense of community and solidarity. Minimum of 400 volunteers will be recruited, trained, supervised, and supported by the project partners from Lithuania, Poland, and Czechia; minimum of 400 refugees will register as users in the mobile application. The sustainability of the project will be ensured by the project partners who will keep promoting the Mobile App in their public events and will keep supporting the target groups after the EU support ends. To ensure independent monitoring and evaluation an expert services from an academic partner will be purchased (university or applied research institution).
