Problem addressed
The transport sector is the largest emitter of greenhouse gases (GHGs), with urban logistics alone accounting for 30 per cent of emissions. The environmental impact of travel is now a key issue. Sustainable transport solutions therefore play a major role in the fight against climate change.
Before Toutenvélo there were no environmentally friendly and secure transport solutions for parcels.
Innovative solution
For Toutenvélo, the development of local projects lies at the heart of our ambition. Our mission is to establish independent, resilient organisations with democratic governance.
This same mission enables us to tailor our services as closely as possible to the needs of local authorities, economic stakeholders and residents, whilst taking into account the specific characteristics of the area in question.
The cooperative status of Toutenvélo’s organisations enables us to:
- strongly involve all employees in the entrepreneurial process
- ensure the long-term sustainability of the collective enterprise beyond the individuals involved
- guarantee the integrity of our economic, social and solidarity-based values
From logistics to trailer manufacturing
Our added value at Toutenvélo is that we are able to offer our customers a comprehensive range of logistics solutions, as we are both cycle couriers and trailer manufacturers.
We offer a comprehensive solution dedicated to the last mile, with a focus on quality of service:
- Expertise developed over more than 10 years
- Suitable and robust transport equipment
- Reliability and expertise of our operational teams
Potential for mainstreaming
Toutenvélo is a network of co-operative companies:
- regional SCOPs specialising in cycle logistics, known as ‘freechises’
- a SCIC responsible for coordinating the network and manufacturing/marketing cargo bikes
Spread across more than 10 towns and cities in France, the Toutenvélo SCOPs offer a range of services: removals, parcel delivery, waste collection, shopping, training courses…
Toutenvélo is a laureate of the 2016–2017 cohort of the P'INS scale-up support programme, jointly run by Fondation Macif and Avise.
