Problem addressed
The RézoSocial project was set up to meet the need to create pathways to employment for people excluded from the labour market.
Innovative solution
As an accredited social integration enterprise, RézoSocial is committed to promoting integration through economic activity. Employees on integration programmes are hired, for a maximum period of two years, in roles as IT maintenance technicians or junior developers.
The success of the objective of helping these employees return to work is based on:
- The acquisition of advanced IT skills throughout the programme
- Practical training and direct experience working with clients
- Social and professional support
- Preparation for leaving the programme, facilitated by targeted initiatives (career planning, work placements, job-search techniques)
- The trust placed in them by the whole team
The high staff-to-participant ratio is a key factor that forms an integral part of the model and contributes to its success.
As a social integration enterprise, RézoSocial itself employs staff on subsidised contracts and also develops the software, Siham, which is primarily intended for use by other social integration enterprises. This enables it to maximise its social impact in two ways – directly and indirectly – as a social integration organisation providing services to the social integration sector.
