This case study illustrates how Mobile Centres can effectively deliver integrated refugee support in rural and underserved areas where access to services is limited or absent. Developed as part of the eDU Hubs and Mobile Centres project, the Mobile Centres respond directly to evidence showing that location is a critical determinant of inclusion.
By bringing language learning, employment guidance, psychosocial support, and community engagement activities directly into local communities, the Mobile Centres ensure equitable access to integration pathways. Their design is evidence based, participatory, and guided by a clear Theory of Change, allowing adaptation to diverse contexts while maintaining coherence.
The case demonstrates that mobility and flexibility are essential components of sustainable integration models. Mobile Centres offer a transferable and scalable solution for extending inclusive support to hard to reach populations across Europe.
