In response to the hardening of migration policies and legislations, as well as the incited social polarisation around the subject of migration, more and more organisations are implementing migration education initiatives to generate new narratives and foster dialogues on migration through the construction of permeable communities.
It is within this framework that e-graine has launched the European project MEETT – Monitoring and Evaluation Tools for Transformative Migration Education. This initiative, supported by the Erasmus+ program, brings together a consortium of five European organizations: e-graine (FR), Grdr (FR), Asinitas (IT), Medeber Teatro (BE), and eACNUR (ES).
Over the next three years, we will develop monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools tailored to different contexts and types of migration education initiatives.
These tools will be designed to be interactive and directly usable by field actors, particularly youth workers.
Our goal is to raise awareness of the impact of our educational initiatives among policymakers and the media, demonstrating that an alternative approach is possible for more inclusive societies.
