Problem addressed

High unemployment rates and social barriers faced by disadvantaged youth in Galicia. Many of these young people lack professional experience and transversal skills (soft skills) necessary to compete in the current labor market, leading to a risk of chronic exclusion.

Innovative solution

A dual-support mentorship model combined with a 360° evaluation system. We provide individualized action plans (IPI) and continuous emotional support throughout the mobility, using digital tools to monitor progress and adapt training capsules in real-time.

The project "Galicia Moza con Alma" adapts the ALMA social inclusion model to the specific socioeconomic reality of the Galicia region in Spain. It tailors the transnational mobility experience to meet the needs of local vulnerable youth, focusing on sectors with high employment potential in our territory.

Improved employability and autonomy for participants. Key benefits include the official Europass Mobility certification, enhanced language proficiency, and a direct connection with local companies in Galicia that value social responsibility and international experience.

Potential for mainstreaming

The methodology used in this ALMA-aligned project can be replicated by other regional entities working with vulnerable youth. We aim to share our results and best practices through networking events with Galician business clusters and public youth services.
