Problem addressed

Between the ages of 8 and 12, many girls experience a significant drop in mathematical confidence and interest—not due to ability, but because of social and cultural influences that create a negative self-image. This reduces the number of girls pursuing STEM-related education and careers later in life.

The project uses drama pedagogy to counteract cultural disconnection from mathematics. It creates an engaging, story-driven environment where girls act as advisors to a fictional princess, solving math-related challenges.
