Problem addressed
There are many entrepreneurial citizen-led initiatives working towards the ecological transition, but they still receive too little support from public or private funding.
Those leading transition projects often use their own funds to support their activities and sometimes struggle to make a decent living in a stable environment.
Innovative solution
Association Zoein provides guidance and financial support to project leaders through the Ecological Transition Income (RTE). Aimed at those committed to the ecological transition, the RTE helps to ensure the long-term sustainability of socially and environmentally innovative initiatives.
The association targets two groups:
- project leaders who wish to implement their initiatives and meet with peers;
- social and solidarity economy organisations and local authorities that are exploring new ways to revitalise their local areas in an environmentally friendly manner.
Key results and benefits
Today, seven RTE experimental groups welcome project leaders and their teams so that they can pool their skills and experiences with their peers.
This community brings together more than 70 project leaders across the various experimental fields.
Potential for mainstreaming
Association Zoein is a laureate of the 2025–2026 cohort of the P'INS scale-up support programme, jointly run by Fondation Macif and Avise.
